Bill Matney has been a "teacher
of sorts" training people how to do "stuff" for over 25 years.
He owns and manages a professional consulting and training
business and personally conducts over 100 seminars and classes
each year. For years Bill focused on LOSS PREVENTION for
commercial operations and on Fire and Emergency services
specializing in technical rope rescue, confined space and
swift water rescue training.
In 1997 Bill needed an assistant to do what NO human could do,
so he trained a dog "Hydro" to pull ropes through small
openings so trapped people could pull in food and water. This
is where it all began! He trained his dogs to rescue people
from the water and to retrieve and carry rescue equipment.
Training dogs was as easy as breathing to Bill and soon others
wanted to know how he did it and the rest is HISTORY. Bill has
appeared on the Tonight Show w/ David Letterman and Pet Stars
in California. He is also a favorite at Outdoor, Wildlife, and
Boat shows all over the United States. His seminars at these
shows are standing room only....ALL DAY..EVERY DAY!!!!
In the "How To Talk Dog" series of products, Bill takes you on
a journey into the mind of your dog to help better understand
how they learn. No lofty ideas, just plain, simple and
straight forward discussion on how to talk dog. Bill shows you
step by step how to communicate with your dog, and you won't
find any pet psychic garbage here- only practical principles,
positive displacement, tried and true trademarked procedures
that teach you how to teach your dog to behave and do neat
tricks.
Bill will teach you how to make life with your dog happy and
safe for years of loyal companionship and faithful obedience.
You might get mad when he exposes your human behavior as the
number one thing you must master, but you will get over that
when every neighbor you have brings his or her dog(s) to you
for training. You may just think the Dr. Phil has changed his
name to Dr. Bill.
